3. Information on the level and duration of the qualification 3.1 Level of the qualification This program is an engineering training program. It therefore corresponds to level 2 of the Tunisian nomenclature and level 7 of the European nomenclature (see point 8). 3.2 Official duration of program in credits and/or years The program requires 3 years of study organized in 6 semesters. During the first 5 semesters, the student receives training in the form of courses, tutorials, practical work and personal work in the form of mini-projects. He also does internships in companies. The last semester is devoted to the completion of a graduation project within a company at the end of which a dissertation is defended before a jury appointed by the university. Each semester totals 30 ECTS credits, i.e. a total of 180 credits over the 3 years. 3.3 Access requirements To access training in this program, the student must have completed two years in the preparatory cycle for engineering studies or equivalent or have obtained a license corresponding to 180 ECTS credits. 4. Information on the program completed and the results obtained 4.1 Mode of study The program is organized face-to-face. However, during the covid 19 pandemic, some lessons were delivered online. The implementation of the Google Education platform to make this experience a success has allowed us to introduce online teaching whenever the circumstances require it. 4.2 Program learning outcomes The main knowledge acquired by the learner are: Computer networks, Computer operating systems and architecture, IT security, Programming languages, , Cloud computing, Telecom networks The competences acquired are: Network design implementation, Network programming and administration, IT audit and Security, Penetration test, Systems engineering. The soft skills cover Customer orientation, Problem management, Decision making, Initiative and proactivity, Teamwork.Assessment of student learning outcomes takes different forms. The evaluation system provides, in fact, in addition to the mark of the final exam, the attribution of a continuous assessment mark based on the written and/or oral tests or on the research files prepared by the student. A catch-up session, open to students who have not been declared admitted to the main session, takes place at least one week after the announcement of the results of the main session. The so-called transversal modules cannot under any circumstances be returned to a control session. Any student deprived of participation in the final exam sanctioning a module or absent from a written or oral test obtains a zero mark which will be included in the calculation of his final mark. Any student who satisfies the general conditions of admission and having a general average greater than or equal to 10 out of 20, is declared admitted, except for master's students and students in the 3rd year of the engineering cycle. To obtain their diploma, master's students and students in the 3rd year of the engineering cycle are called upon to prepare and successfully defend a dissertation or an end-of-studies project. Admission to the main session is notified to the student concerned, after deliberation by the jury. The student declared not admitted to the main session at the end of the year, only retakes the exams relating to the modules in which he has obtained an overall average (CC+Exam) of less than 10/20. At the remedial session, the student benefits, for each exam, from the best of the two final marks obtained in the main session and in the remedial session. The student retains the benefit of the continuous assessment mark, if it is higher than the examination mark taken into consideration for the calculation of the general average. The repeating student keeps the benefit of the modules in which he obtained the average and only retakes the following year the modules whose general average (CC + Exam) is less than 10/20 and therefore, he must retake the control of the exam, otherwise the exam mark will be taken into consideration weighted at 100%.The study program includes a thesis/dissertation or a final project which ensures that students work on a defined task independently and at the level aimed at. In addition to the mini-projects and the end-of-year projects in the 1st and 2nd year, the students are required to deal, during the last semester, with a subject emanating from the entrepreneurial environment. The student's work is supervised by a teacher from the School and a co-supervisor from the company proposing the subject. The problem studied and the solutions proposed are the subject of a thesis written by the student who is submitted to a rapporteur who examines it and gives his opinion on its relevance. Finally, the dissertation is publicly defended before a jury made up of the two supervisors, the rapporteur and any other member appointed by the School's management. A mark and an appreciation is given to the student at the end of the defence.4.3 Program details, individual credits gained and grades/marks obtainedThe university provides the student with detailed transcripts of which copies are attached. The end-of-study project defense jury draws up a report giving the mark given to the student's work and an appreciation of this work and the student's presentation. A copy of this report is attached to this supplement. 4.4 Grading system and, if available, grade distribution table Grades are usually between 0/20 and 20/20. A score of 17/20 is considered very good. The average score is generally around 13/20. 4.5 Overall classification of the qualification The student's admission notification includes a statement according to the average M obtained in accordance with the following table: 10 ≤ M < 1212 ≤ M < 1414 ≤ M < 16M ≥16PassableFairly Well WellVery well 5. Information on the function of the degree 5.1 Access to further study The engineering degree allows you to pursue doctoral studies. No requirement on the level is explicit. This diploma can be considered as belonging to a hierarchy of diplomas since it makes it possible to prepare a doctorate. 5.2 Access to regulated professionThis diploma allows you to work as an engineer in accordance with Tunisian legislation. The Order of Tunisian Engineers (OIT) recognizes the diploma and authorizes its holder to register with the OIT and to exercise the profession of engineer.6.
